- Ps. 37:37
37Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
- Gen. 20:1-7 (to :), 10-12 (to 2nd ;), 14, 15, 17 (to ;)
1And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.
2And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.
3But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife.
4But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?
5Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.
6And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.
7Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live:
... 10And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?
11And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife’s sake.
12And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother;
... 14And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and womenservants, and gave them unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife.
15And Abimelech said, Behold, my land is before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee.
17¶ So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants;
- Gen. 21:22-34
22¶ And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:
23Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.
24And Abraham said, I will swear.
25And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.
26And Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing: neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to-day.
27And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.
28And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.
29And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?
30And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.
31Wherefore he called that place Beer–sheba; because there they sware both of them.
32Thus they made a covenant at Beer–sheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.
33¶ And Abraham planted a grove in Beer–sheba, and called there on the name of the Lord, the everlasting God.
34And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines’ land many days.
- Matt. 15:1-3, 7-9, 20-22, 26-28, 30
1Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
2Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
3But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
... 7Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
20These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
21¶ Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
22And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
26But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.
28Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
... 30And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:
- Eph. 6:10 my, 14, 23, 24 Amen
my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
... 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
... 23Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
... Amen.

- SH 515:21-22 Man

- SH 467:9
It should be thoroughly understood that all men have one Mind, one God and Father, one Life, Truth, and Love. Mankind will become perfect in proportion as this fact 12becomes apparent, war will cease and the true brother-hood of man will be established. Having no other gods, turning to no other but the one perfect Mind to guide 15him, man is the likeness of God, pure and eternal, hav-ing that Mind which was also in Christ.
- SH 264:13-20
As mortals gain more correct views of God and man, multitudinous objects of creation, which before were 15Self-completeness invisible, will become visible. When we realize that Life is Spirit, never in nor of matter, this understanding will expand into self-com-18pleteness, finding all in God, good, and needing no other consciousness.

Life is, like Christ, “the same yesterday, and to-day, and forever.” Organization and time have nothing to do Illusive dreamswith Life.
Man is the reflection of Soul. He is the direct oppo-site of material sensation, and there is but one Ego. We 250 250:1run into error when we divide Soul into souls, multiply Mind into minds and suppose error to be mind, then mind 3Philosophical blundersto be in matter and matter to be a lawgiver, unintelligence to act like intelligence, and mor-tality to be the matrix of immortality.
- SH 192:11-13, 17-23, 30
Erring power is a material belief, a blind miscalled force, 12the offspring of will and not of wisdom, of the mortal mind Human power a blind forceand not of the immortal.
Moral and spiritual might belong to Spirit, who holds 18the “wind in His fists;” and this teaching accords with The one real powerScience and harmony. In Science, you can have no power opposed to God, and the physi-21cal senses must give up their false testimony. Your in-fluence for good depends upon the weight you throw into the right scale.
Whatever holds human thought in line with unselfed love, receives directly the divine power.
- SH 280:30-4
The only excuse for entertaining human opinions and rejecting the Science of being is our mortal ignorance of Spirit, — ignorance 281 281:1which yields only to the understanding of divine Science, the understanding by which we enter into the kingdom 3of Truth on earth and learn that Spirit is infinite and supreme.
- SH 304:3-5, 9
It is ignorance and false belief, based on a material sense of things, which hide spiritual beauty and good-Man inseparable from Loveness. ... This is the doctrine of Christian Science: that divine Love cannot be deprived of its manifestation, or object; that joy cannot be turned into 12sorrow, for sorrow is not the master of joy; that good can never produce evil; that matter can never produce mind nor life result in death. The perfect man — governed 15by God, his perfect Principle — is sinless and eternal.
- SH 63:5
In Science man is the offspring of Spirit. The beauti-6ful, good, and pure constitute his ancestry. His origin is Spiritual originnot, like that of mortals, in brute instinct, nor does he pass through material conditions prior 9to reaching intelligence. Spirit is his primitive and ulti-mate source of being; God is his Father, and Life is the law of his being.
- SH 276:4
When the divine precepts are understood, they unfold the foundation of fellowship, 6in which one mind is not at war with another, but all have one Spirit, God, one intelligent source, in accordance with the Scriptural command: “Let this Mind be in you, 9which was also in Christ Jesus.” Man and his Maker are correlated in divine Science, and real consciousness is cognizant only of the things of God.
- SH 336:9-12 Immortal
- SH 275:14-24
All substance, intelligence, wisdom, being, im-15mortality, cause, and effect belong to God. These are His attributes, the eternal manifestations of the infinite divine Principle, Love. No wisdom is wise but His 18 wisdom; no truth is true, no love is lovely, no life is Life but the divine; no good is, but the good God bestows.
Divine metaphysics, as revealed to spiritual understand-21ing, shows clearly that all is Mind, and that Mind is The divine completenessGod, omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience, — that is, all power, all presence, all Science. 24Hence all is in reality the manifestation of Mind.
