  1. Acts 10:38 God

    God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

  2. Luke 4:14 Jesus, 15

    Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

    15And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

  3. Matt. 15:29-31 Jesus

    Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.

    30And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:

    31Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

  4. Matt. 9:35-38

    35And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

    36But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

    37Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

    38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

    11And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

    12And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

    13And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

    14And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

    15The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

    16And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

    17And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

  6. Matt. 12:14, 15, 22-28

    14Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

    15But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

    22Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

    23And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

    24But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

    25And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

    26And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

    27And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

    28But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

    the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

    When the omnipotence of God is preached and His ab-soluteness is set forth, Christian sermons will heal the 9sick.

  2. SH 249:13-14

    Either there is no omnipotence, or omnipotence is the only power.

        Divine Science is absolute, and permits no half-way 24position in learning its Principle and rule — establishing Impossible partnershipit by demonstration.

    Principle is absolute. It 12admits of no error, but rests upon understanding.

    Christianity 484 484:1will never be based on a divine Principle and so found to be unerring, until its absolute Science is reached. When 3this is accomplished, neither pride, prejudice, bigotry, nor envy can wash away its foundation, for it is built upon the rock, Christ.

    In the year 1866, I discovered the Christ Science or Christian Science discovereddivine laws of Life, Truth, and Love, and 3named my discovery Christian Science. God had been graciously preparing me during many years for the reception of this final revelation of the ab-6solute divine Principle of scientific mental healing.

        This apodictical Principle points to the revelation of Immanuel, “God with us,” — the sovereign ever-pres-9Mission of Christian Scienceence, delivering the children of men from every ill “that flesh is heir to.” Through Christian Science, religion and medicine are 12inspired with a diviner nature and essence; fresh pinions are given to faith and understanding, and thoughts ac-quaint themselves intelligently with God.

  8. SH 1:1

    The prayer that reforms the sinner and heals the sick is an absolute faith that all things are 3possible to God, — a spiritual understanding of Him, an unselfed love. Regardless of what another may say or think on this subject, I speak from experience. 6Prayer, watching, and working, combined with self-im-molation, are God’s gracious means for accomplishing whatever has been successfully done for the Christian-9ization and health of mankind.

  9. SH 109:4-22

        Christian Science reveals incontrovertibly that Mind is All-in-all, that the only realities are the divine Mind 6Scientific evidence and idea. This great fact is not, however, seen to be supported by sensible evidence, until its divine Principle is demonstrated by healing the sick and 9thus proved absolute and divine. This proof once seen, no other conclusion can be reached.

        For three years after my discovery, I sought the solu-12tion of this problem of Mind-healing, searched the Scrip-Solitary researchtures and read little else, kept aloof from so-ciety, and devoted time and energies to dis-15covering a positive rule. The search was sweet, calm, and buoyant with hope, not selfish nor depressing. I knew the Principle of all harmonious Mind-action to be God, 18and that cures were produced in primitive Christian healing by holy, uplifting faith; but I must know the Science of this healing, and I won my way to absolute 21conclusions through divine revelation, reason, and dem-onstration.

    The evidence of divine Mind’s healing power and abso-6lute control is to me as certain as the evidence of my own existence.

        The testimony of the material senses is neither abso-lute nor divine. I therefore plant myself unreservedly Biblical foundationson the teachings of Jesus, of his apostles, of 24the prophets, and on the testimony of the Science of Mind. Other foundations there are none. All other systems — systems based wholly or partly on 27knowledge gained through the material senses — are reeds shaken by the wind, not houses built on the rock.

  12. SH 203:3

    In the Science of Christianity, Mind — omnipotence — has all-power, assigns sure rewards to righteousness, and shows that matter can 6neither heal nor make sick, create nor destroy.

    That evil or matter has neither intelligence nor power, 12is the doctrine of absolute Christian Science, and this is the great truth which strips all disguise from error.

        Divine metaphysics, as revealed to spiritual understand-21ing, shows clearly that all is Mind, and that Mind is The divine completenessGod, omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience, — that is, all power, all presence, all Science. 24Hence all is in reality the manifestation of Mind.

        The three great verities of Spirit, omnipotence, omni-110110:1presence, omniscience, — Spirit possessing all power, filling all space, constituting all Science, — contradict 3God’s allness learnedforever the belief that matter can be actual. These eternal verities reveal primeval exist-ence as the radiant reality of God’s creation, 6in which all that He has made is pronounced by His wis-dom good.

  16. SH 228:25-27

        There is no power apart from God. Omnipotence has all-power, and to acknowledge any other power is to dis-27Priestly pride humbledhonor God.

  17. SH 287:13

    God being everywhere and all-inclusive, how can He be absent 15or suggest the absence of omnipresence and omnipotence? How can there be more than all?
